🛒 Ingredients:
-
400g (approx. 14 oz) salmon fillet (skinless, cut into uniform 1-inch cubes)
-
1 tsp olive oil
-
1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, a pinch of salt and black pepper
-
The Bang Bang Sauce: 3 tbsp mayonnaise, 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce, 1 tsp Sriracha (adjust for heat), and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
-
Garnish: Sesame seeds and finely chopped green onions.
👩🍳 Instructions:
-
Season the Salmon: Thoroughly pat the salmon cubes dry with a paper towel. In a bowl, toss the cubes gently with the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
-
Air Fry: Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (400°F). Arrange the salmon bites in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they aren’t crowded or touching too much.
-
The Flash Blast: Air fry for 6 to 7 minutes total, shaking the basket gently exactly halfway through. The edges should look slightly crisped and caramelized.
-
Toss and Serve: While the salmon cooks, whisk the sauce ingredients together in a large bowl. As soon as the salmon finishes, transfer the hot bites directly into the sauce. Toss gently to coat, garnish with sesame seeds and green onions, and serve immediately over rice or a crisp salad.
